Foxfire (PDF)

Foxfire was inspired by the composer’s residency at Hambidge Center for the Creative Arts and Science in Rabun Gap, Georgia. Foxfire is a bioluminescent fungus found in the hills around Rabun Gap. The fungus emits a blue-green type glow during the night, and is typically found on decaying wood. Unfortunately, you have to go into the forest in order to find it....at night. The hunt for the fungus makes for a magical, disorienting, and spooky adventure.
